Intuitive Massage

The Intuitive Approach to Healing

The intuitive massage approach is one of deep listening. Prior to our session, we will have an in depth discussion about what is arising on that particular day. Addressing not only the physical, but the energetic and spiritual needs of your being. I believe that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. When we seek out healing from another, we are actually seeking the healing from ourselves. A practitioner holds the space, uses their knowledge but ultimately awakens the inner healer within you. Our bodies and our minds are vastly intelligent. When we allow, when we give ourselves the time, the space and opportunity to heal, incredible things happen.

*I infuse every session with aroma therapy, organic Ayurvedic oils, and Vibrational Therapy (tuning forks).

*As part of my tradition I burn Wild sage and Palo Santo before and after every session.

Deep Tissue Massage

This focused massage is slow and coordinated with deep breathing. I will concentrate on the release of certain muscle groups, through an accupressure approach, while following the rhythm of your breath.

For those who are active and need more pressure for deeper release. This massage style is just as relaxing but with a slower, deeper pressure throughout.

Slow Flow Massage

I relate this style to Swedish Massage, this approach is well-known for its long flowing strokes over the whole body, like waves of water—flowing leaving the receiver feeling whole, integrated and deeply relaxed. I infuse different modalities such as aroma, sound, and vibrational therapy (tuning forks) to enhance the experience of deep relaxation and ecstatic bliss.

Craniosacral Therapy

Also called cranial osteopathy and cranial therapy, this is a manual, non-invasive therapy using gentle hand pressure to manipulate the skeleton and connective tissues, typically the head, skull, and sacrum. As a CST practitioner, I will use my hands to feel for ease of motion and rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Then, using soft touch techniques to release restrictions in any tissues which surround the central nervous system. This gives the body the ability to self-correct corresponding problems.

Reiki Energy Healing

Reiki is a form of energy healing with roots in ancient cultures. Reiki uses what’s known as universal life force energy—ki or qi—to improve people’s lives and ailments. The term “reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Some practitioners describe reiki as acupuncture without the needles.

Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands on or just above different areas of the body. It’s based on an Eastern medicine belief that living beings have energy fields that support their health and vitality.
